... Poetry is indefinable, but if I could dare to define it would be ... a summary of sentiments expressed by the word under the "eye" critical aesthetics. The sensitivity, posture, particularly vision, formed by the passing of each, all result in a creation that must reflect in its speaker something and more about the poet who writes. Something like that ...
Could you tell us a little about your life, of his published works, awards, his literary activity?
I, first of all I AM WOMAN (I feel special that), daughter, mother, grandmother and a respect there. Write forever, but not as determined as I started doing for about ten years ago. I just published my first book of poetry: No more than this, focusing on the variables (some of) the erotic. My achievement in writing is not limited to poetry and in narrative, gender stories, where more have participated in calls and won several literary awards for it.
When did you write? Why?
I started writing in the manner described above, due to a personal search process could not only set with married life, motherhood, work, etc. I knew that something was missing, and not say it is the job of writing what completes me, but it is the tool to get closer to what I want: my own recognizance.
How would you describe your poetry?
As varied, predominate, perhaps, the love, which unavoidably linked to other issues equally valuable and necessary to refer, as the philosophical, social meaning, religious, etc. I think if you bring together all those terms in the concept of "human poetry" would be more than well represented.
Which authors
influenced your poetry? Several
... depending on age. I turn (to name a few) to Gabriela Mistral, Gonzalo Rojas, Eduardo Anguita, and the list will not raise it, deep down, I start to name the ones I like, but I'm not sure of his influence. I think what influenced me most is ... the need to create, to find my reflection.
What is the order you would like to accomplish with your poetry?
find, find, meet and communicate with the rest to see if someone identifies me. That would mean I'm not so bereft of species.
What
poem would you choose if you had to choose one special? Why?
Uff!, How difficult. My "you say? Maybe that identifies my book: No more than that. Why? That is precisely why, so I was inspired to continue working.
How poetic language has changed over the years?
has changed in the trailing sense fear to innovate, to experiment with new forms and structures.
For you are born or become a writer?
I think both things, which can occur together or separately. I do not think they have rules on this.
What advice would you give to a young writer / writer who began in this beautiful way of the WORD?
it be him or herself ... that is not contaminated or optical copying styles that can hit, but that, ultimately, are nothing more than a gesture of defiance ultra passenger and abused. A wake-up call effect on a particular topic, without the weight or respect enough to be called poetry.
How do you see the publishing industry today?
As always ... a business like any other, and always business premium income. Why ask for more from a merchant or entrepreneur? Moreover, the different, we do ourselves, change the rhythm to dance, to engage with it and move my hands at the same language. So ... hopefully, able to accomplish something, but if not ... what do we miss? Are not there hundreds of pressing issues that our writing? We are immersed in a world where everything is staggering. The claim now, in these times of instability and ineffectiveness of much of society recognize us as have never done ... well, I think it will be sinning a little naive.
If I had to recommend a book of poetry, prose, stories, novels etc. What would you recommend?
of poetry ...." Stolen Verses ", a collection of erotic poetry of four different prism Chilean authors, very nice, also as an object.
of prose ... "The Amortajada" Bombal.
From tales ... which I do! Seriously, I can not decide because I like too, but I will stay with "The Isle of the Dead", de Bernardo Astudillo.
My favorite novel has long been Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte, and before that does not admit any intellectual inquiry or of any kind.
What do you think of new ways of spreading the word, whether on web sites, literary cyber forums, virtual magazines, ñusleter, blogs etc?
I think it is great to have reached it. Since the rules of the game changed and we must adapt to the times or die, what better to use the tools we have at our disposal? What of the forums ... I do not know ... for my part I have no time for it and whether to devote all day to the network, E-mails, blogging, social networking or call it whatever, I would not write anything, and Other than that, I have also life of its own apart from keyboard, so I accept and welcome all the progress, but ... used to balance, without falling into the addiction.
Now ... the book completely change the virtual paper ... EVER.
