This word is not a verb but an adjective. The fact that the poor have had the misfortune of being born with the same ending as the infinitives of the first conjugation verbs gives us no right to refer to some variations that are peculiar to verbal inflection. However, it is common to read sentences in which nuclear wrongly used like a verb, usually with a sense of gather or congregate .
Here are two examples of incorrect use:
The union that joins the buses for short, medium and long distance called for the Government Buenos Aires ratify the move announced a week ago. ( Clarín, June 10, 2008).
employees gathered in the Port Union States (SUPA) demanding an increase in income of day laborers. ( Clarín, June 12, 2008).
