Consultation: described or described? Abbreviations of ordinal
verbs belonging to the family of type (except for writing , rewrite, rewrite and manuscribir ) are only irregular in the two forms that have their participles. Hence, the spellings are correct -attached seconded , circumscribed, limited , banned, banned , etc. Perhaps influenced by written (current form compared to the antiquated eScript), the form preferred by the majority of English speakers is not - p - ( described , signed , transcribed , etc. ), but in some parts of America, especially Argentina and Uruguay, is preferred participle with - p - which respects the etymological spelling ( pre-registered, registered , prescribed , etc.).
