for you What is poetry?
Poetry is an expression of the emotions that cause different feelings in me, to the world around me and the people who inhabit it, is also a quest for beauty through words. Beauty, on occasion, not without pain or anger.
Could you tell us a little about your life, of his published works, awards, his literary activity?
I was born in Morocco, the English grandparents, my parents were also born there but in Africa. I studied Art and Decoration in Valencia and graduated in History at Madrid, the city where I live. I worked for an art magazine in Valencia, I've published poems and short stories in literary magazines, anthologies in ten Hispanic, I have published a book of short stories, From Beyond, and a book of poems, The Skin of Wind, and two books yet Unpublished: Games and Mazes Smoke Siren, which I hope will soon see the light. Several collections of short stories and a novel. I've never submitted contests, so I opted not to award.
When started writing? Why?
I started writing as a child, maybe because my grandmother was a journalist and used to write as well as articles, poems and stories. So I was very normal to have things to write.
How would you describe your poetry?
is essentially lyrical, to the landscape I think I expressed from an insider's look as it does not tell you what I see, but how am what I am seeing. I like playing with classical forms, the music of heroic verse, for example, I love, but I like to break the rules and feel free, each poem requires a different construction.
What authors influenced your poetry?
There are several, Pedro Salinas y Dulce Maria Loynaz, along with Pablo Neruda and Miguel Hernandez, have the most impact on me and, therefore, the more I read and studied, but there are many others such as César Vallejo, Paul Eluard, Verlaine, Blanca Varela, Meira del Mar,

... What is the order you would like to accomplish with your poetry?
a personal level, to convey to others the same emotions that moved me to write the verses and poems build. A literary level, provide something that is consistent and stay out of all these trends going and coming together to fashion, so fleeting and low base that sustains them over time.
What poem would you choose if you had to choose one special? Why? For
choose, perhaps, one in prose Dulce Maria Loynaz, La Novia de Lázaro, for its originality, beauty and the deep content of his views on human feelings, their evolution over time and circumstances , also on the impermanence of life and the law of impermanence to which we subject all of us.
How poetic language has changed over the years?
all have to evolve, when you're younger you rely more on improvisation, you're more prone to getting caught up in some fashion trends, I also happened to me. With experience you realize that many edges have to polish your own work, emotions have to be worked literally to reach a greater projection of beauty, a dimension that transcends the emotional, personal, and can reach others in the form of feeling, yes, but also of art.
For you were born or makes a writer?
probably been born with a predisposition, a kind of gift, but this is not enough, then you have to be there to read a lot, study the roots of literary theory, and work on what we want to express, without relying too where the muses who deliver the lines in your ear without putting effort on our part.
What advice would you give to a young writer / writer who began in this beautiful way of the WORD? That
be honest with yourself, you find your way of expression without selling to fashion in their ability to express themselves constrained. And to read and work hard, must know well the rules then if you want them want to jump or break wisely. Work from ignorance, not lead anywhere worthwhile, in the literary world.
How do you see the publishing industry today?
First puntualizaría is not an industry, but a publishing business. The big publishers are what make the market and published authors to consider more commercial. Even in poetry, which is the least commercial of all genres. Second, is an industry that is subject to major changes to the digitization of products that previously had paper as only support. The hope of the writers, especially poets, is in the small publishers who do not seek the sole purpose of its own profit, but a work of dissemination of little-known authors but which fall within the parameters of literary quality by which deserves to be published, distributed and read. The survival of the publishers will depend, in the fairly near future, its ability to publish in digital media, as well as on paper.

In poetry, water games, Dulce Maria Loynaz. In prose, Mortal and Rosa, Francisco Umbral. In stories, octahedron, Julio Cortázar. Novel, One Hundred Years of Solitude, García Márquez ...
What do you think of new ways of spreading the word, whether on websites, forums literary cyber, virtual magazines, ñusleter, blogs etc?
That are already present in the literature, the diffusion power is impressive for the speed of communication and the broad reading can provide, both in number and in the different cultures and different levels of training that involves such a wide range of users. They are a tool of information and cultural dissemination, today, is essential.

Just acknowledge the work and dedication of the initiatives of people like Gustavo Tisocco that, by his own efforts, are coming together and spreading to many artists in different banks, different countries, different continents, love of the arts and culture, generally speaking, and in this particular case, also poetry.
