Paul Glowatski Philadelphia

Interview with Amanda MIRROR

for you What is poetry?

... Poetry is indefinable, but if I could dare to define it would be ... a summary of sentiments expressed by the word under the "eye" critical aesthetics. The sensitivity, posture, particularly vision, formed by the passing of each, all result in a creation that must reflect in its speaker something and more about the poet who writes. Something like that ...

Could you tell us a little about your life, of his published works, awards, his literary activity?

I, first of all I AM WOMAN (I feel special that), daughter, mother, grandmother and a respect there. Write forever, but not as determined as I started doing for about ten years ago. I just published my first book of poetry: No more than this, focusing on the variables (some of) the erotic. My achievement in writing is not limited to poetry and in narrative, gender stories, where more have participated in calls and won several literary awards for it.

When did you write? Why?

I started writing in the manner described above, due to a personal search process could not only set with married life, motherhood, work, etc. I knew that something was missing, and not say it is the job of writing what completes me, but it is the tool to get closer to what I want: my own recognizance.

How would you describe your poetry?

As varied, predominate, perhaps, the love, which unavoidably linked to other issues equally valuable and necessary to refer, as the philosophical, social meaning, religious, etc. I think if you bring together all those terms in the concept of "human poetry" would be more than well represented.
Which authors
influenced your poetry? Several

... depending on age. I turn (to name a few) to Gabriela Mistral, Gonzalo Rojas, Eduardo Anguita, and the list will not raise it, deep down, I start to name the ones I like, but I'm not sure of his influence. I think what influenced me most is ... the need to create, to find my reflection.

What is the order you would like to accomplish with your poetry?

find, find, meet and communicate with the rest to see if someone identifies me. That would mean I'm not so bereft of species.
What
poem would you choose if you had to choose one special? Why?

Uff!, How difficult. My "you say? Maybe that identifies my book: No more than that. Why? That is precisely why, so I was inspired to continue working.

How poetic language has changed over the years?

has changed in the trailing sense fear to innovate, to experiment with new forms and structures.

For you are born or become a writer?

I think both things, which can occur together or separately. I do not think they have rules on this.

What advice would you give to a young writer / writer who began in this beautiful way of the WORD?

it be him or herself ... that is not contaminated or optical copying styles that can hit, but that, ultimately, are nothing more than a gesture of defiance ultra passenger and abused. A wake-up call effect on a particular topic, without the weight or respect enough to be called poetry.

How do you see the publishing industry today?

As always ... a business like any other, and always business premium income. Why ask for more from a merchant or entrepreneur? Moreover, the different, we do ourselves, change the rhythm to dance, to engage with it and move my hands at the same language. So ... hopefully, able to accomplish something, but if not ... what do we miss? Are not there hundreds of pressing issues that our writing? We are immersed in a world where everything is staggering. The claim now, in these times of instability and ineffectiveness of much of society recognize us as have never done ... well, I think it will be sinning a little naive.

If I had to recommend a book of poetry, prose, stories, novels etc. What would you recommend?

of poetry ...." Stolen Verses ", a collection of erotic poetry of four different prism Chilean authors, very nice, also as an object.

of prose ... "The Amortajada" Bombal.

From tales ... which I do! Seriously, I can not decide because I like too, but I will stay with "The Isle of the Dead", de Bernardo Astudillo.

My favorite novel has long been Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte, and before that does not admit any intellectual inquiry or of any kind.

What do you think of new ways of spreading the word, whether on web sites, literary cyber forums, virtual magazines, ñusleter, blogs etc?

I think it is great to have reached it. Since the rules of the game changed and we must adapt to the times or die, what better to use the tools we have at our disposal? What of the forums ... I do not know ... for my part I have no time for it and whether to devote all day to the network, E-mails, blogging, social networking or call it whatever, I would not write anything, and Other than that, I have also life of its own apart from keyboard, so I accept and welcome all the progress, but ... used to balance, without falling into the addiction.
Now ... the book completely change the virtual paper ... EVER.

Finally Do you want to add something?

only thank you for the space and attention you spend on it to all of us, your peers, who share the same love-addiction-curse-blessing spend most of their time dreaming of what will be the theme and the final result our next project.
Those who write, at times, because that's what we do best, or else ... because there is nothing else we can do well.
Which do you stay you?

DANIELA DE ANGELIS interview

for you What is poetry?

To define poetry I avail myself of it beautifully expressed by the Master Heidegger: Poetry is "the decline of language"-not the creation of a condition where there is no language, but is continuous and constantly renewed Language attack against its own extreme limits, where it sinks into silence. Poetry is what happens in throughout their stay. And we live.

Could you tell us a little about your life, of his published works, awards, his literary activity?

There is a feature on me that has settled, and the lack of solemnity. Therefore, I outlined a sort of "Curriculum mortis" in which I could forge from the construction of the collateral, underlying, which is not visible, but nonetheless, Es humor and irony are, to me, resources that appeal. View
When did you write? Why?

My first poem was dedicated to my mom and I wrote at school, first grade. Still I keep it: it was very baroque in its enunciation! But it gave me the overriding need writing, while reading I ran into the wonderful word. Never cease to do so.

How would you describe your poetry?

If you should find a qualified, call it suffering, human, existential. But I think it is for the readers the audacity-or adventure-relenting.

What authors influenced your poetry?

César Vallejo, Roland Barthes, Olga Orozco, Alberto Girri and Aldo Oliva, among others. You always have headlights and the shipping name is constant, a sort of continuum that is recreated, re-built, ocean stretches.

What is the order you would like to accomplish with your poetry?

Name the world, the Other, to Serme, to remain: "To be I am to be one / leave me / find me among the other / the others are not if I do not exist / the others that I give full life "-Or. Peace.

What poem would you choose if you had to choose one special? Why?

would choose, undoubtedly, any poem of Master Vallejo, for example, a bread man goes through a shoulder. Because this poem amalgam human condition in all its wake suffering, its flow and scrapping existential.

How poetic language has changed over the years?

lot, as I believe, everyone who wrote in the beginning we are more influenced in terms of mimesis to some authors. Then comes the conscious work, sweat, fiercely passionate about writing itself. And instead of artifice, the engine begins to loom. And its resonances.

For you are born or become a writer?

is not an issue or divine magic, nor recipes. I truly believe is a permanent job at the same time, demands a deep commitment, never finished: "The responsibility of art," according to Bakhtin. I do not believe the figure of the poet medium "forged by Cortázar, as opposed to the" professional writer. " There is, yes, the poet, the life experience that drives the word, the tense, the free, the calls, the invites.

What advice would you give to a young writer / writer who began in this beautiful way of the WORD?

Read, read, read ... In the words of Jorge Larrosa:
"... As we write only repeating and transforming what we have read, Maeterlinnk paraphrase answer. Write (and read) is like plunging into an abyss in which we have discovered wonderful things. When we bring to the surface only common stones and pieces of glass and something like a new concern in his eyes. The written (and read) but the trace is not visible and always an adventure disappointing that, after all, it has proved impossible. And yet we become transformed. Our eyes have learned a new dissatisfaction and are not used because of the lack of brightness and mystery of what we offer in the light of day. But something in our heart tells us that, deep, still shines, immutable and unknown, the treasure ... "

How do you see the publishing industry today?

We are replicated in a kind of consumer citizenship. And is that the concept of citizenship has shifted dramatically to the consumer because the consumer is where citizenship is exercised and built today. Anorexia identataria-understood as a place of crisis and dissolution of identity, lies in "(...) That reassuring hybridization hybridization attempts a monological climate is also seeking the oblivion of the differences which can not be dissolved (... ) hybridization can be thought of as the identity constructed through a negotiation the difference, "gives us García Canclini.
"Bestsellerismo triumphant" Roa Bastos called the publishing industry today. I think this late modernity through us, operates in a brutal way: impose and exclude fragments and despair. But fortunately, every system has its interstices. It is therefore fundamental, urgent and vital to weave solidarity networks among writers and readers, to undermine much hilarity mercantilist.

If I had to recommend a book of poetry, prose, short stories, novels, etc., What would you recommend?

Read it all. Eagerly, earnestly, from the enjoyment. Devour texts. Become omnivorous.
is a difficult question because the list is infinite, or you may call it "the library" - these texts are inescapable, essential. Rehearse a few: Human Poems by César Vallejo's poetry Aldo Oliva, Hugo Mujica, Adam Buenosayres, Leopoldo Marechal, Men of Maize by Miguel Angel Asturias, The Invisible Cities, by Italo Calvino; The process Franz Kafka, Fictions, by Jorge Luis Borges, Fragments of a Lover's Discourse, Roland Barthes, the chronicles of Pedro Lemebel and Elena Poniatowska. It is important to clarify that I just mentioned only some examples of la infinitud de autores y textos que se adentran en mí, y acaecen…

First, it is essential to recognize globalization as a narrative and not merely process. Between cultural identities and global, Canclini notes the presence of "new spaces of cultural and political mediation" and proposed to treat globalization as "a set of processes of homogenization and, in turn, articulated fractionation of the world, reorders the differences and inequalities without destroying. "
Therefore, and as he proposes, it is imperative to discover what he calls "new spaces of cultural and political mediation." We should note, therefore, that "the future of globalization decide what citizens need to rework the (...) multicultural community perspective in the modern city conditions." Is therefore urgent to transform the relationship between identity, citizenship through a narrative construction of these notions, in turn, involves talking about them like meaning, a new narrative construction can only be defended from the continual and which also must conquer incessantly in the celebration of differences.
I think we should be lucid, and to appropriate these codes and others. New technologies overwhelm, but at the same time, enable a different assembly of the word, his movement is interesting ... I think the idea of the mole, mole strategy: to undermine, undercut, undermine to come to the surface and burst.

Finally do you want to add something?

My deep gratitude, endless and free, Vos, Gustavo, for creating this space of resistance from the poetry. My thanks to each of the readers, all partners are spoken here from the inescapable certainty of the poetic word, Estanislao, my son and the only link existential blood flows through me and Hugo, the Love of My Life, My Roommate. Using Primolute N During Breastfeeding

Interview Interview SUZANNE EDNA Szwarc

for you What is poetry? Question

disturbing as the poetry itself. Yes, poetry restless. Is - poetry that something else is done with the same communication tool. The same words used in a horrible news, or use the multinationals, are displayed in poetry. And yet, that it is not the same.
Is it a stretch the world? Is it a place of communion? Two, three, reading a poem and moved by it, creating a union, a relationship, a single gasp. Is it shock? Poetry makes language a treasure. We could also say it was a rock but not hard, but it does place a stone to deploy, mourn, laugh.
is an adventure-poetry-able to move the foundation to the emergence of "another way of being."

Could you tell us a little about your life, of his published works, awards, his literary activity?

was born in Quitilipi, Chaco. Of parents who came from concentration camps. I lived alone since the age of 9 in "Capital." (This, I wonder now, should not become a person having "strong" but not, I became a reader. They said the parents: "If you read, you'll get your home in ... if you take the field." And was not a small field soybean.

girl I liked to be in line traps and read poems. Exit bike and read to the birds ("listen, 'cause flying)
appeared in the village rare books as well as Corin Tellado, one of SJPerse Anabasis, the process Kafka, a Romeo and Juliet. Read streaky and I think something got me "with understanding" better "than today.
wrote followed (this does not mean it's always valuable, pulling almost all) I was easy to tap into the core literature. Shyness, not to meet people who are dedicated to the same, the feeling "a little girl in the street", using words that produced mockery in the "capital" and so on. did not stop writing but it did not have a circle of the same. " However
I decided to go to publishers, to be somewhat arrogant (without realizing). Eg. Beatriz Guido to edit. Losada, wanted to change the beginning of a story. I refused, I did not. (Errors juveniles)
After "the poetry I did." No one knows how "it" begins to speak again and suddenly becomes the "muscle work" to accept the sentences, write them down. Of course, given the subject, the immense task of editing, review, make a montage.
wrote narrative (The artist's dream, Braids, The random creaks, a happy light); poetry: In the separate, Bailen the steppes, Barbara said, Birds of passage and I have an unpublished book but I did not decide the title . Always ask for help with the title, annoying to a lot of people and then the name appears (as it itself). Others come before, as in a happy light.
I left in anthologies, poems I translated in several languages and a rare Chinese-Mandarin. I
awards in poetry and narrative of Unesco for the novel Braids: The grant award also Torch and Regional; Inicación Secret Award. In Culture Nation separately only municipal Dance Award steppes. Mention in international story Julio Cortazar and a few others. I also took
stories for kids (although I think they are suitable for all age groups). There once was a circus Once there was a drop (which was award) makes little "Three crazy cats" who elected him to present at the fair in Frankfurt. (And left in the Chaco).
Ah! and plays, I am now a quagmire. But perhaps all is poetry.

When did you write? Why?

I think we all write. Or doodles. As a child I liked to write, I liked the picture that made the letters. Read-write on the sidewalks of Quitilipi, under the shade of paradise (tree), eating watermelon. I guess later in the solitude of Buenos Aires, write produce effect of "other." Wrote letters (to exist) and read.
Years passed and a sudden desire to write in notebooks and pass the word machine, fashioned a possible book. And it was. I think not much is known about why. Happens. Happens. And then continue. Something to say. But: who?
I still find one of the most interesting things. Although at times "that" speaks to us, the language is silent or not listened.

How would you describe your poetry?

would have to look for what some critics say. But in my poetry would surreal areas, intimate areas, areas objectivist. And I use irony, a kind of humor even in the most tragic (as in the poem "rounds" where there is a thing of horror, "ether" (the gas) and yet you say "lucky if there legs for the pain.
Yes could say that "writing after Auschwitz," Adorno delivered, did not materialize. It went on writing. Segui writing. And they kept the "camps" as well.
endure what I think absurdity of existence and some "force" pushes some to us poetic language. We walked to the stone (Sisyphus) on their backs, and yet: the happy moments.
When I think make a sentence, I said. Then I forgot, I despair to a new sentence. And I think that this is shared. For example, when I read Celan and suffer with what you say, I also feel happy with how he says it. So again that gets in the world.

What authors influenced your poetry?

read as a child to St. John Perse, fascinated me. In school I read poems of Borges as well. When I was teaching at Villa America, Rafael Castillo (Province of Buenos Aires), read my students in sixth and seventh to John L. Ortiz and felt the joy (of the meeting, that communion). I really like what does Alexander Schmidt (I like to reread it), and many contemporaries. I "touched" José Kozer, Adelia Prado, Reina María Rodríguez.
And I guess reading prose has influenced me also, eg. Kafka, Kawabata, Rulfo, Marguerite Yourcenar, among many others.
(And I read the poets nearby, displayed on your page of poetry, and many others. Many times, something they say feed me, make me write)

What is the purpose would like accomplish with your poetry?

do not believe in what is called "communication" does not believe in the pedagogical.

Yeah I like that a sentence of a poem (like a phrase), we get to the other so that is a kind of passage. And it makes possible some "understanding" that goes along with the shock, I think.
A "realization" that things have the potential to be, so often otherwise.

What poem would you choose if you had to choose one special? Why?

Any poem another or your own? If other, would choose today, "Idle" by Carver. And maybe tomorrow, another.
If one of mine: smiling?, And several others.
is very difficult to choose "one." I teach writing and many texts "we" speak.

How poetic language has changed over the years?

Will there be changed? Perhaps, yes. In the new I be "less formal" have "more humor." But there are poems from the start that I think are better than some current. I do not think that there is "progress" in art. Yes, there are modifications. And I think there is a move away when something was written: "I wrote this?, One wonders to be found (or not). In addition there are some who insist also significant variations.

For you are born or become a writer?

I always make. You can nacerse talented (I'm not sure what that is), but if things do not get the paper, no writing. It is an do.
Although one could say that sometimes it is as "in writing" for long periods, without annotations. But there must be "something laid on the leaves." And then see what writing is about.

What advice would you give to a young writer / writer who began in this beautiful way of WORD?

him write and read. Read and write. That writing is just writing.

How do you see the publishing industry today?

For poetry is always an enigma. Luckily, poetry books keep coming. And somehow the publishers of poetry are heroes. O sub-heroes (I say as recovery greater)

If I had to recommend a book of poetry, prose, short stories, novels etc. What would you recommend?

Poetry: authors recommend: César Vallejo, Paul Celan, the Szymborska. (And muhos more)
Narrative: Tony Morrison, John Berger, Marguerite Duras (and more)

What do you think of new ways of spreading the word, whether on web sites, literary forums cyber, virtual magazines, ñusleter, blogs etc?

I think everything that serves to spread the word. is valuable. You can read through cyber means, but is done with the effort of individuals.

Finally Do you want to add something?

thank you to Susan Szwarc
